Amy is a Senior Fire Engineer in the Fire Safety Engineering team with over six years of experience in the field. She is currently undertaking a research degree looking at novel methods of waste fire detection and has experience in heavily-engineered building designs for fire safety as found in the waste and recycling industry and other industrial and specialist sectors. This can often involve computational modelling of fire and smoke or evacuation.

Amy also works with more common facets of fire engineering such as residential building design, commercial and retail space, heritage buildings, providing fire strategy and design support.
